Playing with Fire (aka Creme Brulee)!
We made creme brulee the other day - which means I got to play with the blowtorch! Yay! It definitely takes some practice in order to torch it just enough and not burn the sugar.
Creme brulee is my FAVORITE! Was it as delectable as it looks in your photos?? I wish technology were at the point where I could just reach into the picture and take that off your hands!!
It was delicious! I would have preferred to infuse it with a little vanilla bean or orange zest into the custard but we had to do plain vanilla extract for this one. I love cracking the top!
