So this is not my favorite Halloween costume idea ever, but it is so hilarious. I hope the link works. I just feel so bad for the little sister who got stuck being a waffle!

I don't know.....the waffle is kind of funny - not as cool as Aunt Jemima, of course.

OMG - I totally meant Mrs. Butterworth. What is wrong with me? Mrs. B is an obviously superior syrup.

Well, although I couldn't stand him this guy in college dressed up like Billy Bob's character from Slingblade and it was crazy how much he looked and sounded like him. I appreciate his commitment to his costume even if I thought he was a big ol' jerk.

My favorite I think was when I dressed as a demon, just for the looks I got because of it.

I once dressed up as the Hamburglar. I wore a black/white prison suit, red tie, black cape, mask and hat. I carried around a plastic, squeaky dog toy shaped like a hamburger and had red gloves and slippers on. Everyone thought it was funny, especially since I'm a vegetarian.

Hannah decided to be a cow for Halloween last year- and she was anatomically correct. I have the costume saved still- udder, teats and all!

Some people may remmeber my Celtics "Fan" costume. I had on a bunch of celtics gear and then i folded a poster board accordion style so that it looked like a fan. I think I taped it to my shirt of something? I can't really remember I think I may have been 7 or 8 at the time.

I think my favorite costume ensemble was actually "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas." Cherish, you were a fantastic Merry Christmas. I was disappointed by how few people figured it out, though: "Three whores and a Christmas person?"

Oh, yeah, that one was hilarious. Hi Amy!!!

Halloween is my favorite!I think last year we had some pretty clever costumes. I was Rosy the Riveter and my husband was the unabomber. He carried around a box with a little alarm clock in it that ticked loudly all night. And my brother in law was a shower and his girlfriend was a loofah.

My grandson had been spiderman for 3 years running and we were trying to get him to be something different. He Idolized his grandpa so we talked him into being a carpenter, Pa bought him his own leather tool belt and a hard hat. Halloween finally came and I heard a knock at the door ,I opened it and sure enough there was spiderman wearing a tool belt and hard hat. Needless to say Colin was spiderman for the next 6 years and no one tried to change it.

Ok, it was last minute planning on my part, but Halloween day I put together a costume for my son. I took a big, square piece of black cloth and made a cape where the collar went around his forehead instead of his neck. I ripped the white collar part off of an old dress shirt and attached it to the collar part of the cape. I made him a black do-rag type head covering (out of the same cloth as the cape) and applied velcro to the top of it on the top of his head. I put velcro on the bottom of his cloth wired pumpkin trick or treat pail and stuck it on top of his head. He had to take his bucket head off to get the candy and it appeared that he was headless when he did. He was 4... it was cute.
